How to Use Safely (Recommended)
To get the best experience, we recommend a short adjustment period. A weighted blanket should feel calming and comfortable — never restrictive.
Getting started (first week)
Days 1–2: use for 15–30 minutes while relaxing (reading, watching TV, winding down before sleep).
Days 3–4: increase to 30–60 minutes if it feels comfortable.
Days 5–7: you can use it daily, and if you enjoy it, try overnight use.
Everyday use
Use it as often as you like — many people enjoy it every evening or all night once they’re used to the weight. There is no need to alternate “week on / week off” unless that’s simply what feels best for you.
Comfort & safety check
Stop using the blanket if you notice any of the following:
Numbness or tingling in arms/legs
Discomfort or pain in joints, back, or chest
Feeling too warm / overheated
Anxiety, restlessness, or trouble relaxing
Any breathing difficulty or feeling that the blanket is “too much”
A good rule: you should always be able to move freely, breathe comfortably, and remove the blanket on your ownwithout effort.
Do not use a weighted blanket, or use only with medical advice, if you have any of the following:
Breathing or respiratory conditions (e.g., sleep apnea, severe asthma/COPD)
Heart or cardiovascular conditions (e.g., heart failure, unstable blood pressure)
Circulation problems (e.g., severe varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease, history of blood clots/DVT)
Neurological conditions that affect sensation or control (e.g., reduced sensitivity, neuropathy, seizures)
Limited mobility or any condition where you may not be able to remove the blanket easily on your own
Recent surgery, significant injury, or chronic pain conditions that can worsen with pressure
Pregnancy (especially later stages) — consult your healthcare professional
Severe anxiety/claustrophobia triggered by pressure or restricted feeling
If you experience numbness, tingling, overheating, discomfort, anxiety, or any breathing difficulty, stop using the blanket immediately.

Full washing instructions
The blanket can be washed in the washing machine only if the blanket’s weight does not exceed your washing machine’s maximum load. Wash on its own, using a small amount of liquid detergent. Use a slow spin cycle and dry flat.
(Tip: drying flat helps the filling stay evenly distributed and preserves the shape.)
